(Pr.29:18). On this backdrop, the Lord graciously called and anointed Bishop Taiwo Akinola and he also, in turn, chose to obey the heavenly vision. This elaborate vision incloses not only an unveiling of God's matchless plan for his personal life but also details God's plan for a multitude of people all over the world who have been foreordained to be partakers of the heavenly vision-plan. The marching order which God attached to the call led this servant of God to start Rhema Christian Church & Tower with present headquarters in Sango Otta, Lagos Nigeria. And for close to two decades now, this world-wide ministry has affected several thousands of souls across the globe. ABOUT RHEMA CHRISTIAN CHURCH & THE CHAMPION PEOPLE It has been our privilege and honor to spread the good-news of the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ round the world since the inauguration of this ministry on the 2nd of November, 1991.  This we have done with outstanding results through preaching and teaching of the Word of God. Our mission mandate from heaven is crystal clear and unambiguous: "raise with me a glorious assembly of Jesus' people". The Lord assured us with these words: "in this place will I give peace". Rhema Christian Ministries is not a set-up of man, but called up by God and mandated to preach the full Message of Triumph: over sin, poverty, oppression, satan, fear, sorrow and death. We are a Great Commission Church poised to raise men of integrity, fully equipped, disciplined and battle ready for end-time harvest of souls into God's Kingdom. OUR VISION, MISSION AND GOALS  VISION: To love and glorify God passionately and, by the help of the Holy Spirit, to enthrone Jesus Christ in the hearts of very many people the world over.  MISSION: To raise and nurture glorious assemblies of Jesus’ People through preaching and teaching of the triumphant Word in all nations, to all classes of people and in all generations.  GOAL/OBJECTIVE: In fervent obedience to our mission mandate until the glorious gospel is fully preached and all peoples and families on earth are touched for Jesus Christ the Lord. CHAMPION RESOLUTIONS As a people of power, purity and purpose and in an assembly where everybody is somebody and Jesus Christ being LORD of all, we have resolved to make :- Commitment to the Lord our waking thought, Righteousness and love for one another our  walking passion, Spiritual authority our daily exercise and Excellence in all things the colour of our ministry. BROADER AIMS & OBJECTIVES  The aims and purposes of RHEMA can be broadly stated as follows:-  (i)  To preach and propagate the glorious and the everlasting gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ as well as to educate and to reform people through the Holy Spirit as presented in the Holy Bible in all parts of Nigeria and the whole world at large.  (ii)  To sanctify a spiritual atmosphere of praise and worship unto the Lord to promote a suitable Biblical atmosphere for the exercise of spiritual authority over satan, sin, sickness, poverty, curse, oppression, death and such vices.  (iii)  To operate bible welfare plan for full members through prayers and material assistance where necessary as well as engage in benevolence services.  (iv)  To establish and accept churches and christian religious organisations for the furtherance of the gospel wherever converts are made or wherever a call arises for such.  (v)  To establish institutes to train ministers and church workers for the furtherance of gospel work within and outside the country.  (vi) To own, hold, develop, maintain, operate, lease, sell, exchange, dispose of or manage or deal with or otherwise acquire lands, buildings, investments and property of any kind movable or immovable or interest in the same and situated in the Federal Republic of Nigeria or elsewhere for or in connection with or to further the aims and objectives of RHEMA.  (vii) To acquire by gift, donations or bequest real and or personal property for the use and benefit of RHEMA in the Federal Republic of Nigeria and elsewhere with full power to use, sell and dispose of property and convert same into cash securities or other classes of property for the use and benefit of RHEMA.  (viii) To engage in community and social development programmes and scholarship schemes.  (ix) To establish operate and maintain prayer camps, schools, and mission centres  for the furtherance of these objectives.  (x)  To produce, publish and freely distribute or sell religious literature in form of tracts, books and magazines which are compatible with these aims and objectives.  (xi) To co-operate with other church organisations with similar objectives within and outside Nigeria with the intent of contributing to the building of the body of Christ and towards the achievement of these stated objectives of RHEMA.  (xii) To carry out any and all such other incidental acts (e.g. organising convention, teachings- meetings, crusades) for the attainment of any of the objectives herein specified provided they are conducive and consistent with the Holy Bible and those outlined objective.  (xiii)  To make disciples for Jesus Christ among all nations of the earth beginning from this nation by preaching and promoting peace, love and progress among the generality of humanity with the aim of making the world a better place to live in.  (xiv)    Nothing in these stated objectives shall in any way limit or restrict the term of the revelation of the word of God as contained in the Holy Bible but the terms specified in the word of God as well as a release of the Holy Ghost shall be regarded as the unlimited objectives of RHEMA. OUR TENETS OF FAITH   1. We preach Christ’s birth, works, teachings, crucifixion, resurrection, ascension, second coming, millennial reign, White Throne judgement, new heaven and new earth. 2. We believe in Divine Trinity. 2Cor. 13:14. 3. We believe in Repentance towards  God. Acts 3:19. 4. We believe in Restitution. Lk. 19,8,9. 5. We believe in Justification and Regeneration. Jn. 3:3. 6.  We believe in Sanctification & Holiness. 1Thes. 4:3 7.  We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues and in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. 8.  We believe in divine healings, signs, wonders and New Testament miracles. 9.  We believe in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ as literal and visible as His first ascension to Heaven. Acts 1 : 9-11. 10. We believe in Eternal Heaven and Eternal Hell. Rev. 14: 10-11 11. We believe that marriage is binding for life, except for fornication (Mt. 19:9), and if the unbelieving partner departs, 1Cor. 7:15 applies. 12. We believe in water baptism by immersion. Acts 8:38, 39. 13. We believe Jesus instituted the Lord’s Supper and so should be observed. 1Cor. 11:23-24. 14. We believe in tithing as a sign of our obedience and to prove God’s power in supply Mal. 3:7-10. 15. We believe in all the provision of God to minister to the felt needs of the people in prosperity, wisdom, deliverance, divine favour and upliftment. 16. This is the sum of the whole: we believe in the entire bible as the revealed will of God truly stated to enhance grace and godliness in the whole state and affairs of men.

RHEMA CHRISTIAN CHURCH MINISTRIES (i)  RHEMA shall have a major outreach arm, operating as a “ministry” outlet under the name (RHEMA CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES.) which shall hold, sponsor and / or co-organise such programmes, ventures and projects as it deems fit within and beyond the confines of the local churches but in pursuance of the aims and objectives set forth in this constitution.  (ii) The Church MINISTRIES shall serve as outlets to develop individual callings, talents, initiative and fulfil individual evangelistic aspirations.  (iii) Ministers of RHEMA and individuals shall obtain the approval of the president prior to the commencement of such unique ministries for administrative purposes. (iv) The Church  MINISTRIES  may have representatives in every branch and elsewhere all over the world.    THE MINISTRIES SPECIFICS  For the avoidance of doubt, the various ministries under the umbrella of the church shall consist of the following:-  (i) Evangelism and Crusade Outreaches  (ii) Church Planting Ministry  (iii) Teachings Ministry  (iv) Media and Literature Crusade  (v) Missions and International Outreaches  (vi) Healing and Miracle Crusade  (vii) Bible School and Training Ministry  (viii) Welfare and Social Services   LOCAL CHURCHES  (A)          CHURCH PLANTING   (i) The church ministry shall plant and nurture assemblies of believers where the LORD gives the instruction or where such steps will please the LORD of the harvest, and shall be discerned by the Church authority.   (ii) Such assemblies shall known and called RHEMA CHRISTIAN CHURCH  INT’L.   (iii) The provisions of this constitution shall be binding on all such branches anywhere they are located.    (B)           AFFILIATION OF OTHER ASSEMBLIES   Non-RHEMA CHRISTIAN organisations which may wish to affiliate to RHEMA CHRISTIAN CHURCH INT’L shall be considered for acceptance on individual merits and provided that they shall be:-   (i) Full-orbed, gospel and bible based assemblies.   (ii) isposed to embrace in totality the provisions of this constitution.
